On April 20, the seminar on "China's fiscal theory and teaching in the era of digital economy" and the Standing Council of the National Association for fiscal teaching and research in Colleges and universities, sponsored by the school of economics, Wang Yanan Economic Research Institute and Zou Zhizhuang Economic Research Institute of Xiamen University, and organized by the Department of finance, School of economics, Xiamen University, were held in Xiamen University. More than 50 experts and scholars from nearly 20 brother universities across the country attended the meeting.

Professor Wang Qiao, former Secretary of the Party committee of our university, vice chairman of the finance major education guidance committee of the Ministry of education and chief expert of the college, was invited to attend the meeting and make a keynote report entitled "strengthening the research on Tax Governance in the new era and accelerating the modernization of tax Governance in China". Professor Zhang Zhongfang, Dean of the college, attended the meeting. Professor Wang Qiao pointed out in the report that in order to better play the basic, pillar and guarantee role of tax in national governance, it is of great significance to strengthen the research on Tax Governance in the new era and accelerate the modernization of China's tax governance capacity and governance system.

Focusing on the theme of "China's fiscal theory and teaching in the era of digital economy", the meeting discussed and exchanged views on the construction of fiscal discipline and personnel training, theory and practice. Professor Ma Haitao, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of the Central University of Finance and economics, and Professor Fang Ying, vice president of Xiamen University, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. The meeting also held four sub forums around the two themes of "discipline construction and talent training" and "China's fiscal theory and practice" to discuss and exchange talent training cases and the latest teaching and scientific research achievements in the field of finance.

王乔、张仲芳参加“数字经济时代中国财政学理论与教学”研讨会暨全国高校财政学教学研究会常务理事会议

4月20日，由全国高校财政学教学研究会，厦门大学经济学院、王亚南经济研究院、邹至庄经济研究院主办，厦门大学经济学院财政系承办的“数字经济时代中国财政学理论与教学”研讨会暨全国高校财政学教学研究会常务理事会在厦门大学召开。来自全国近20所兄弟院校的50余名专家、学者参加会议。

我校原党委书记、教育部财政学类专业教指委副主任委员、学院首席专家王乔教授应邀出席会议并做题为“加强新时代税收治理研究，加快推进中国税收治理现代化”的主旨报告，学院院长张仲芳教授参加会议研讨。王乔教授在报告中指出，为更好地发挥税收在国家治理中的基础性、支柱性和保障性作用，加强新时代税收治理研究、加快推进中国税收治理能力和治理体系现代化具有重要意义。

本次会议围绕“数字经济时代中国财政学理论与教学”主题，就财政学学科建设与人才培养、理论与实践等方面进行探讨、交流。全国高校财政学教学研究会理事长，中央财经大学校长、党委副书记马海涛教授，厦门大学副校长方颖教授在开幕式上致辞。会议还围绕“学科建设与人才培养”“中国财政学理论与实践”两个主题，举行4场分论坛，研讨交流财政学领域人才培养案例与最新的教学科研成果。
