Public Finance Department

      Initiated in 1958, Public Finance was one of the four old specialties when the university was restored in 1978. Public Finance Department originated from teaching office of public finance. Now, there are 17 teachers and 11 of them are working full time. The staff of the department consists of 8 professors, 8 associate professors, 4 doctoral instructors, and 12 master instructors. In recent years, the staff has successfully applied for 7 state-sponsored social science projects and 2 state-sponsored natural science projects.

      Taxation Department

      Restored in 2006, the specialty of taxation focuses on two programs: tax planning and certified tax agents. In 2009, Master of Taxation program was initiated. The staff team is well-structured with good education background. Among 13 full-time teachers, there are 11 professors (6 of them are doctoral instructors), 1 associate professor, 1 lecturer, and two of them are the winners of “Provincial Prominent Teacher”. In recent years, the staff has accomplished over 10 state-sponsored or ministry-sponsored projects. In addition, more 20 books and 200 essays have been published.

Public Management Department

      The bachelor program of public management was initiated since 2002, and more than 300 students have graduated from it. Independent from the old one, public management department was founded in 2010. The staff team is well-structured with good education background. Among 6 full-time teachers, there are 3 associate professor and 3 lecturers, all with doctoral degree. In recent years, the staff has successfully applied for 3 state-sponsored social science projects, 1 state-sponsored natural science projects, and 2 ministry-sponsored projects. In addition, 8 books and over 100 essays have been published.

 Public Administration Department

      Public Administration department was founded in 2007. It offers one bachelor program (administrative management, since 2002), two master programs, i.e. master of administrative management (since 2003) and master of public administration (MPA, since 2005), and one doctoral program (public economics and management, since 2011). Among 7 full-time teachers, there are 3 professors, 1 associate professor and 3 lecturers, five of them with doctoral degree. In recent years, the staff has successfully applied for 2 state-sponsored social science projects, 1 state-sponsored natural science projects, and 3 ministry-sponsored projects. In addition, 6 books and over 100 essays have been published.

Social Security Department

      The school has been offering bachelor program on social security since 1998, among the first 8 Chinese universities which were permitted to set up the specialty. The master program began from 2002. As one of research focus of the doctoral program “Public Economics and Management”, Social Security department begins to accept doctorate candidate. The staff team is well-structured with good education background. Among 7 full-time teachers, there is 1 professor, 6 associate professors, all with doctoral degree, and two of them are the winner of “Provincial Prominent Teacher” and “Gold-Medal Lecturer of JUFE” respectively. In recent years, the staff has successfully applied for 1 state-sponsored social science projects, 1 state-sponsored natural science projects, and 4 ministry-sponsored projects. In addition, 10 books and over 200 essays have been published.
